Mr. J is sick so Miss J is walking both dogs. Oy! Jr is 11 at least a still strong enough to pull Miss j all over the place.

Happy Adoption Anniversary, Jenkins! Four years ago, we brought this mutt home.

Thank you, Person Who Had Him before Us, for training him so well. He’s great off-leash, loves other dogs and is a big cuddle-muffin despite looking like a bruiser. He makes friends every where we go.

Thank you Pasadena Humane Society for recognizing Jenkins’ awesomeness and keeping him around week after week until we rescued him.

Thank you, Michael, for talking me into another pit-mix.

Thank you, Jenkins, for being brilliant at fetch and for the smiles you brought to our house. 2008 was a year marked by loss. Your adoption was a bright spot.

Dog Presents 2011

Miss J realizes most people have no interest in watching her doggehs open their Christmas presents. And that at three minutes, this video is long. On the other hand, its better than the g-damned advertising that the Chinese spammers have been dumping on mIss Janey's Place for weeks.

National Dog Day

In honor of National Dog Day, here are Miss Janey's mutts. Jenkins was adopted from the Pasadena Humane Society in February 2008 after Miss J's first dog Ralph died.

In June 2001, Miss Janey found Junior wandering along Alvarado and gave chase. She grabbed him as he topped the stairs leading to a bus stop on the 101 freeway.

The happiness they bring to the Janeys cannot be measured. UP with dogs!
